Description
By ordering an event pass, attendees are registering for access to EchoLan 2024 events and are deemed to have accepted the Event & Sale Terms, the Website Terms & Privacy Policy, and the following:
Attendance
The event is restricted to attendees who are 18 years of age or older. Proof of age may be required at the door, and attendees who are unable to provide proof of age may be refused entry or ejected from the event.
Attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner towards other attendees, event organisers, and the event venue. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event.
Health and safety
Attendees are required to attend a health and safety briefing at the beginning of the event. Attendees are expected to follow the guidance given at the briefing and take all necessary precautions to ensure their own safety and the safety of others. Failure to comply with the health and safety guidelines may result in expulsion from the event.
Equipment
Attendees are responsible for bringing their own gaming equipment, including but not limited to laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice, and headphones. The event organizers will not be responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment.
The event organizers reserve the right to monitor network traffic for the purpose of maintaining the security, stability, and performance of the event’s systems. Attendees are strictly prohibited from scanning, intercepting, attempting to access, attempting to damage or disrupt, tampering with, altering, or using any equipment without explicit permission. This includes the equipment of other attendees, staff, and the core network. Violations of this rule will result in immediate expulsion from the event and, if necessary, further action.
Food and drinks
Attendees are allowed to bring their own food and drinks. The event organizers may provide snacks and non-alcoholic beverages at the event.
Attendees are allowed to bring their own alcohol to the event, but are expected to drink responsibly. Alcohol is not to be shared with anyone under the legal drinking age. The event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject attendees who act disruptively. Attendees are responsible for their own safety and well-being, and should not operate any equipment while under the influence of alcohol.
Liability
The event organizers will not be held liable for any injuries or damages sustained during the event. Attendees participate at their own risk.
Copyright
Attendees are expected to comply with all applicable copyright laws and refrain from engaging in unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material.
Photography and videography
The event organizers may take photographs and videos of the event and its attendees for promotional purposes. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should inform the event organisers.
Purchases
All purchases and sales are subject to the Event & Sale Terms. Prices are GST exempt.
Purchases may not be transferred without the written permission of the event organisers.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued at the discretion of the event organisers up until 3 weeks prior to the event, except in the case of a cancellation of the entire event by organisers, in which case a 12-month credit will be issued for future events.
Refused entry or expulsion from the event for breaching any of these terms waives all claims for refund.
Changes
The event organizers reserve the right to modify terms and conditions at any time.
